@Chicó: O screenlets é muito bom, tentei muitos programas de widgets e etc, e posso lhe afirmar com alguma certeza baseado nas minhas pesquisas, que a melhor opção atualmente é o screenlets.... Com certeza, testei gdesklets, adesklets..... E uns outros que nem consigo mais lembrar o nome... O desenvolvimento de todos esses parece estar lento ou estagnado.... O screenlets, apoiado pelo pessoal do compiz, parece estar a todo vapor..... Você só precisa de alguma compositing manager... pode ser beryl ou compiz ou outro...
Eu uso um dock chamado avant-window-navigator... e que necessita de compositing.. e os caras descobriram uma maneira de rodá-lo sem compiz ou beryl, na verdade vc ainda vai rodar um compositing manager, mas.... muito mais leve... não lembro exatamente...... Como é... mas vou dar uma olhada... não é certeza que vai funcionar com o screenlets também, mas não custa testar....
