Olá! Ubuntu Single Sign On <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Single_Sign_On>(também chamado *Ubuntu SSO*) é o serviço de login unificado do Launchpad, baseado em OpenID<http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenID>, usado pela Canonical <http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canonical_Ltd.>. Ele dá acesso a Launchpad, Ubuntu One <https://one.ubuntu.com/>, Ubuntu Shop<https://shop.canonical.com/>, e outros serviços e sites que suportam autorização por OpenID. Pode ser usado inclusive para autenticar aplicações desktop tais como o plugin "Ubuntu One Music Store" para Rhythmbox<http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhythmbox>e Banshee <http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banshee>, o cliente sincronizador do Ubuntu One, e a própria Central de Programas do Ubuntu<http://www.techtudo.com.br/dicas-e-tutoriais/noticia/2012/08/como-usar-a-central-de-programas-do-ubuntu.html> .
Pelo menos desde a madrugada de quinta-feira 14 de Março de 2013, o wiki.ubuntu-br.org funciona com o login unificado do Ubuntu SSO! No início da tarde do dia anterior, eu havia me dirigido ao canal #canonical-sysadmin para relatar os problemas de SPAM que o wiki do Brasil enfrentava. Já com tantas horas de atraso da minha parte, compartilho com vocês agora o log daquela conversa (em inglês; .txt anexo), para que fique transparente o que eu, *um novato sem edições*, fui fazer dirigindo-me diretamente aos administradores sem esperar pelos veteranos desta lista. Desejo que a minha atitude não seja má interpretada. Eu não quis e não entendo que tenha passado por cima da liderança do Zandre Bran. Talvez o mesmo resultado existisse hoje sem a minha intromissão. Reforço que estou aqui tão somente para o que declarei no meu e-mail de apresentação<https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-br-doc/msg00558.html>. Não obstante, busco agir com uma objetividade tal que me fez sentir livre para dar uma mãozinha não solicitada aos que estão a frente desse projeto e, diferentemente de mim, realmente dispostos a "envolver-se".
