Hello List,
I recently joined the Belgian Ubuntu list and I would like to introduce me
at this occasion.
My name is Marc Lallemand, I am (almost!?) 45 and live in Sint Stevens
Woluwe. I am Dutch speaking but the French language has no secrets for me
(speaking that is) and as you can read I am a (little bit) better in
English. I am married, have 1 daughter and work at a large company (US
bases) in Diegem.

I work with computers for the last 15 years now and I used to build my own
computers. I have some computer skills but I am not a programmer, although
at some point a "wrote" an application in MS acces.

I discovered Linux some years ago but I found that it was not for me at that
time. Recently (about 3 months ago) I came across Ubuntu and immediately
fell in love with it. I installed it and it is my main OS at this time, I
have some programs I have to run under windows so I cannot migrate
completely to Ubuntu. Maybe in the near future this will be possible as I
find that linux is becoming more and more mean stream. For example: Click
magazine will be publishing, in their next to issues, a "How to install"
... Ubuntu.

Because I work 1 weekend out of 2 I will not be able to help you with fairs
and so but there will be other ways to help the Ubuntu community in belgium.

Kind Regards,
Marc
