ntop is network monitoring application

where kpackagekit describes it as

ntop displays a summary of network usage by machines on your network in a
web mode, which allows the display to be browsed with a web browser.

after installing I ran sudo ntop to configure.. and I suppose it did
configure properly.

but how to view the network usage?

man ntop is too ambiguous and did not help much..

how to see the bandwidth result?
