Hello everyone! Recently I bought a Mobidata EDGE modem ( Model MBD-100EU) and finding it difficult to configure it under ubuntu 8.04. I used wvdialconf and it cannot detect any modem, also GnomePPP fails to detect any modem. But the modem works fine in Windows. I viewed syslog and I was wondered to see the fact that the modem was detected rather as a scsi CD Rom. I dont know what to do.
