Hello all I have a HP 1200 (native postscript) printer.
When printing there is delay of at least 15 seconds even with a very small (16K) text file. When the printer runs out of paper, there is a delay of 20 or more seconds after putting in paper before this is recognised - why ? If the job is just a single page of text, it insists on printing a further blank page - why ? The printer priority is set to urgent and no-delay. It seems that the printer is only interrogated every 20 seconds or so. Can anyone advise on how I can get a faster printing response.
