Regarding Communications from the design team, IMO, this cycle they have improved this multifold. We have an increased number of design team members subscribed here and answering questions, than last cycle. If someone asks a question, they are responding. Afair, all (almost?) questions raised for the design team have been responded to. Regarding directing to blogs, i recall Ivanka posting the survey here too. Or, some member or the other has reposted the blog posts here. IIRC we may have missed the submissions update post alone, we could request them to make sure to post here too. The situation is not yet perfect but it's better.
