Maybe the wiki is bland, but I think that's preferably to adding
not-well-thought-out images of varying styles now and then.

To do good job of adding illustrations would require to develop a
consistent style and some rule on where to add images and where not.


Regarding the attached image: It is not a logo, it's a collection of ...
things.

Repeating Ubuntu is likely not a good idea, but if it is done, the
proper logotype should be used and not a generic and entirely unfitting
font.

I see the CoF and an arrow that looks like it has to avoid an invisible
obstacle. With a little goodwill, one might read that to mean something
is coming from the community. Then I see a screen and what must a PC
tower. Nothing in there says artwork or design to me.
