>Icons are used to express ideas, actions, and they should be immediately recognizable. And when they figure it out, they'll still be wondering why it's a wine glass.
The issue isn't really with recognition. The issue as Cory has stated is that the Developers/designers of wine, have made the decision to represent their solution with a wine glass. We wouldn't want to redesign their logo for them. If Firefox extensions had their own category we wouldn't want to redesign the Firefox logo either, it would be some representation similar to the current Firefox branded logo. Thanks JT
