A poll for the visual look of something is really bad - there are professional designers for a reason, and that's because they know what they're doing best. The poll would also not represent everybody who'll be using the OS - the old gramdma, the office worker, or Facebook addict. Simply because they don't care about all that much to be trolling the internet for things related to it.
