We need four solid edgy incoming pages for each item,

Good call, will they be Incoming/EdgyWhatever or
Incoming/EdgyProposals/EdgyWahtever?

I would favour number 2

I would also propose another level EdgyWhatever/Summary

For each of those four pages - I don't think it is too much work to
ask each artist to submit a 250 wide thumbnail of each work they
submit and add it to that page- it would reduce the need for busy
people to make contact sheets (which I assume must mean downloading
all of the content first!)

This isn't any sort of official final notice, as I try
to keep current, but my schedule is ugly so I don't
know how often I am going to be able to do a semi-official
cleanup summary.

Hence the summary pages

Good time for a selection of feedback too, so I will try
to get something in place to take care of that.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer (and I do mean ANY),
TJS

PS: According to the breakdown, our Proposal phase ends
on the 7th of August, so please make sure that your attempts
are paper documented on the wiki for feedback. Get it
SOMEWHERE on there, and make sure the list knows about it.
Also take care to make certain that your work is somewhere
below /Artwork so that busy folks can sort without roaming
through reams of mailing list flog. Thanks again...

THINGS TO GET WORKING ON:

We haven't yet got much in the way of polishing the Human GTK theme? have we?

 * Many of the wallpapers people are submitting haven't tried
to extrapolate them into the other components. It would
look very lazy to just use a wallpaper as a background

I don't know that it would - would it?
If we changed the composition slightly, I think it leads to a really
nice consistent feel.

I notice Suse had about 3 slightly different BG images they used for
Splash, usplash lspalsh, bg, gimpsplash - GDM etc

 * I encourage _everyone_ who intends to get proposals in
to try and provide a series of usplash/logon/lsplash/wallpaper
sheet sets for EACH loose concept. This means that you will
need to prove that your ideas can coordinate and work
together across the four specs AND work within the existing
framework (EG: Human Icons, Window Borders, etc.)

I thought that came after the Propose phase (In Produce)

I don't have that much time and I thinik that it is likely to reduce
the number of concepts I can do if I have to do all 4, but if that is
what is required, okie

 * Our specifications for FUTURE work need fleshing out.
   In particular:

   * Edgy +1 longer term issues? No one has any? Great,
that means there won't be a glut of email to the list
when Edgy +1 development starts! Seriously though folks,
if you have things that you would like to see get 'done',
     get those specifications in.

I will shortly be writing a 'distribute-qt-them-in-ubuntu-desktop'
spec that proposes shipping a QT 'Style' (so just the KDE equivalent
to a GTK theme) that matches our GTK theme with ubuntu-desktop.

Awsome progress this cycle folks!
Let's keep it up and build on the
momentum.

sounds goot to me :)
