this is the first piece of art i've posted on the mailing list. it's all svg and made with inkscape. i like the mirrored ubuntu logo on the boot screen, so i decided to make a wallpaper based on it. i wanted to keep it fairly minimalist so that it wasn't too distracting. i've made an effort to stick to the human colour scheme. the writing blends from human highlight down to accent yellow shadow. the two colours used in the gradient background are both orange base with altered levels of luminoustity. hope it's ok. john m. -- ubuntu-art mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-art
