You can get into Orca's help with the Orca+h key sequence. This will let you hit a key and see what Orca will do with it. I know it's not the easiest thing in the world, but I review Orca's key commands by going into Orca's settings. Hit Orca+space and then one of the tabs to the right is the key mappings tab. This is a table you can navigate to review Orca's key commands.
I assume you're running Windows with Ubuntu in a virtual machine. You should be able to start the install of VMware tools through the VMware interface. It's been years since I've done this, but I think you'll get an image mounted to your virtual copy of Ubuntu, which will have the installer for VMware tools You might need to extradct it first and you may need to change the permissions to make it executable. It's just been too long since I've done it. -- Christopher (AKA CJ) Chaltain at Gmail > -----Original Message----- > From: Ubuntu-accessibility <ubuntu-accessibility-boun...@lists.ubuntu.com> > On Behalf Of Austin Pinto > Sent: Monday, May 4, 2020 7:29 AM > To: ubuntu-accessibility@lists.ubuntu.com > Subject: starting to learn Ubuntu as a second os. have some accessibility > questions. > > hi all. > i made vm of the latest ltsb version of Ubuntu. > i have the following questions. > 1. is there a video series, podcast or guide to learn the entire use of orca? > 2. is there some other tts for orca if yes how to get them? > 3. is there a list of orca and plain Ubuntu keyboard shortcuts? > i also want to install vmware tools. how do i do that? > > -- > Ubuntu-accessibility mailing list > Ubuntu-accessibility@lists.ubuntu.com > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-accessibility -- Ubuntu-accessibility mailing list Ubuntu-accessibility@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-accessibility
