NTU: Postdoc position at NTU (Singapore) is available. Research topic: Intelligent control of unmanned aerial vehicles. The project involves:
- Soft computing methods including artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic control theory and adaptive neuro-fuzzy systems - Parameter update rules for artificial neural networks and adaptive neuro-fuzzy systems Requirements: Prospective candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, automatic control, mechatronics, applied mathematics, or other related disciplines. Moreover, he/she should have a strong publication record in the fields related to control theory and state estimation, preferable in model-free control methods. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with unmanned aerial vehicles. The candidate should also have excellent verbal and writing skills in English. The contract is for one and half year, and the salaries are competitive and are determined according to the successful applicant's accomplishments, experience and qualifications. Singapore has low income tax and a postdoc is likely to pay a variable income tax of a maximum of 15% (see http://www.iras.gov.sg/irasHome/page04.aspx?id=1190).
