We are seeking applicants for a postdoctoral researcher position. Our current NIH funded projects focus on developing causal learning algorithms, machine learning methods for efficient genome wide epistasis learning, and clinical decision support systems using large-scale heterogeneous data. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to work on different aspects of these projects, but will be focusing on data analyses, population of the knowledge base, and interpretation, analyses, and presentation of research results. Requirements: Candidates with a PhD in computational biology, machine learning, bioinformatics, computer science, biological science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline, with an established record of quality publications, will be considered. Experience with analyzing next-generation sequencing (DNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq) data and with using various bioinformatics tools is highly desirable. Experience in machine learning and Bayesian network methods, computer programming, and statistical analysis is preferred.
