CALL FOR PAPERS

***PERCOM 2015 WORKSHOPS, DEMOS, WIP, & PhD FORUM***

IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications
http://www.percom.org/
23-27 March 2015, St. Louis, Missouri, USA
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IEEE PerCom, now in its 13th edition, is the premier conference for
presenting scholarly research in pervasive computing and communications.
Advances in this field are leading to innovative platforms, protocols,
systems, and applications for always-on, always-connected services.

In addition to core technical sessions with presentations of high quality
cutting-edge research articles, the conference will feature a diverse
mixture of interactive forums: a work in progress session on emerging
ideas; live demonstrations of pervasive computing in action; a Ph.D. forum;
and targeted workshops on exciting topics. We invite contributions to these
PerCom events below. Accepted contributions for these events will be
submitted for publication in IEEE digital libraries (Xplore). For
additional information, visit http://www.percom.org/.

        *** WORKSHOPS ***
We invite submissions to the 11 workshops that are affiliated with PerCom
2015. These workshops complement the main PerCom conference and provide a
forum for researchers to discuss special interest areas within pervasive
computing and communications. Workshops include:

* CoMoRea: The 11th Workshop on Context and Activity Modeling and
Recognition
* IQ2S: The 7th International Workshop on Information Quality and Quality
of Service for Pervasive Computing
* MUCS: The 12th IEEE Workshop on Managing Ubiquitous Communications and
Services
* PerCol: The 6th International Workshop on Pervasive Collaboration and
Social Networking
* PerEnergy: The 1st International Workshop on Pervasive Energy Services
* CASPer: The 2nd International Workshop on Crowd Assisted Sensing
Pervasive Systems and Communications (formerly CROWDSENSING)
* PerNEM: The 5th International Workshop on Pervasive Networks for
Emergency Management
* PerMoby: The 4th International Workshop on the Impact of Human Mobility
in Pervasive Systems and Applications
* SmartE: The 2nd International Workshop on Smart Environments: Closing the
Loop
* WristSense: Workshop on Sensing Systems and Applications Using Wrist Worn
Smart Devices
* PerCity: 2nd International IEEE Workshop on Pervasive Systems for Smart
Cities
Detailed information about the individual workshop's scope, submission
deadlines, and format can be obtained by visiting

                                                        *** WORK IN
PROGRESS ***
The Work-in-Progress (WiP) session provides an opportunity to present and
discuss new challenges and visions, showcase early research results, and
explore novel research directions. The specific aim of the WiP session is
to provide a forum for timely presentation, discussion and feedback for
novel, controversial, and thought-provoking ideas. All selected papers will
be presented as posters in a special conference session following a
1-minute madness oral presentation.
PerCom WiP information: http://percom.org/?q=wip
Submission Deadline: November 21, 2014

                                                        *** PhD FORUM ***
The Ph.D. Forum will provide an opportunity for Ph.D. students to present
their dissertation research, including work in progress, to the pervasive
computing and communication community. The Forum will be organized as a
combined workshop and a poster session during the main PerCom conference to
encourage interaction between Ph.D. students and researchers from academia,
industry, and government.

PerCom PhD Forum information: http://percom.org/?q=phdforum
Submission Deadline: December 5, 2014

                                                          *** DEMOS ***
The PerCom Demo Session will feature (i) prototypes that convey
groundbreaking ideas or novel concepts, (ii) high-quality demonstrations of
pervasive computing systems that provide new scientifically relevant
insights, and (iii) innovative applications used to convey original
contributions. We invite proposals for such demonstrations from both
industry and academia.
More information including submission deadline: TBA on http://percom.org/
