We are seeking candidates for a two-year post-doc at the department of computer science in Ben-Gurion University starting Oct. 1 2014 or earlier. The post-doc will be in charge of a service-robot project that includes researchers from the areas of planning, vision, NLP, and mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate should have background both in robotics and in automated planning and especially planning under uncertainty. Good working knowledge of ROS is great plus. The scholarship is roughly 10000Shekel/month, tax free (approx 2000 euro or 2800$). Work will involve implementing the basic control architecture, and integrating planning under uncertainty techniques into it.
