I'd like to draw your attention to two faculty positions at the University of British Columbia that are related to Data Science. The two positions have emerged separately within each of Mathematics and Computer Science. But, given the inter-deparmental nature of Data Science and the central role that Statistics plays in that discipline, we are working closely with these two departments in their searches. Furthermore, we anticipate there to be expansion in this important area in the coming years.
