Project Description: Applications are invited for several open Postdoctoral Research Scientist positions at SUNY at Buffalo, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in the area of computer vision, machine learning and social media analysis. Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in computer vision, machine learning, multimedia or related areas with outstanding research record and experience. The grant support will be 2, 3, or 4 years. Successful candidates will conduct basic research and interact with the principal investigator, graduate students, and collaborators. The Computer Science department at SUNY Buffalo is among the oldest CS departments nationwide with a strong focus on computer vision, pattern recognition, smart environments, and machine learning.
