--Apologies for cross-postings-- We are looking for research interns over the summer (3 months), preferably PhD students. The student should be comfortable with state of art machine learning and Statistical NLP. The student should have some experience with developing information extraction and text mining systems, be proficient in Java and Matlab. The student should be familiar with most standard text representation, feature extraction and classification techniques. We are looking for students that have published at one or more of venues like NIPS, ICML, ACL, HLT, KDD, SIGIR etc.
