Call for Workshop Proposals
The Program Committee of the twenty-fourth Canadian Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI’2011) solicits proposals for workshops to be held on May 24th, 2011 at Saint John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The main goal of the AI’2011 workshops is to facilitate active interchange of ideas both theoretical and applied, in the general areas related to Artificial Intelligence. The workshops will provide an informal setting where participants will have the opportunity to discuss specific technical topics in an atmosphere that fosters such exchanges. The workshop organizers in conjunction with the workshop chair will be responsible for advertising the workshop, forming the program committees, reviewing and selecting papers. Papers will be reviewed according to their originality, technical merit and clarity of presentation. Workshop organizers are responsible for publishing their own proceedings. It is also expected that one of the authors will present their paper at the workshop. Workshop registration entails a separate fee in keeping with past Canadian AI conferences (see http://aigicrv.site.uottawa.ca/register/). Workshops may be full-day or half-day. A full-day workshop should ideally include between 10-14 regular papers, while a half-day workshop would consist of 5-7 regular papers. The deadlines are as follows: Workshop proposal submission: December 1, 2010 Notification of acceptance of proposal: December 8, 2010 Workshop: May 24, 2011 Please direct all enquiries regarding workshops to Professor Sheela Ramanna (s.rama...@uwinnipeg.ca). We look forward to your participation at AI’2011.
