We search a candidate for a PhD thesis (3 years) starting at the beginning of 2008.
We look for a candidate in the field of the Dependability (do not hesitate to contact me for the exact subject: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ). This thesis is financed by an ANR project in connection with 8 partners: Manufacturers (Bayesia, EDF, Soredab, CHU Nancy, INERIS) and of research laboratories (LIP6, CRAN, ERPI). The candidate should possess knowledge in dependability and a solid training in mathematical and probabilistic model. The knowledge of the Maintenance, Bayesian Networks and / or of Markov Decision Process are not indispensable but will be appreciate. The integration of the thesis in a multi-actors project asks the candidate for a strong implication, with a good relations and capacities to speak and write in French language.
