You can check if your configuration includes CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK (see doc/README.autoboot). In this case you should still be able to stop the boot process by continuously hitting a key during startup. If this is not the case, then you'll need to use the tool to change the U-Boot environment from Linux. For details see tools/env/README. When you have this working, simply adjust bootdelay again.
