Why not just go a guidcmp()? memchr_inv() will return the first
invalid match, but we don't need that
guidcmp() would require allocating a zero guid to compare to, this is
just a check for any non-zero byte in the GUID so memchr_inv() seemed
more fitting.
I can switch to guidcmp() for readability.
