Yes, it is important to shut down devices. Especially with USB
devices.
BTW: can you *please* fix your mail addresses?
It's not "Remy Bohmerl <i...@bohmer.net>"
but "Remy Bohmer <li...@bohmer.net>" instead. Don't you get tons of
bounce messages?
