I see. Definitely, there is a check on processor tape before checking the serial driver. As flag you should add CONFIG_SOC_DA8XX instead of CONFIG_MACH_DAVINCI_DA850EVM, as the last one depends on board, and the availability of the NS16550 depends on processor.
