hi list, i have a mpc8260 based VME board, running 1.3.3 u-boot (yes i know old, will try to upgrade as soon as possible). The board has trouble negotiating its ethernet (FCC) duplex mode. Sometimes it negotiates full, sometimes half duplex. If the board negotiates full duplex it has trouble to receive TFTP images (problem then persists for the booted system). I can't lock the port on the switch as the system might be moved.
