This is what we have now, after the other approach didn't work well.

Of course we can - as soon as someone posts clean patches.

Jean-Christophe claimed several times before he had this nearly
complete resp. ready for posting, but at the moment it seems he just
beamed himself off this planet.

If you want strict real-time behavior, run in the real  time  schedu-
ling class.  But there are no seatbelts or airbags;  main(){for(;;);}
