Our hardware has a watchdog which has a maximum period of 1 second. Once I've got Linux up and going I can handle that.
I'd love to have a watchdog so that if Linux doesn't take over, the board will reset and try again. Is there any experience/example of u-boot driving a short-period watchdog throughout the boot process I can try to copy?
