Yes I agree, this is a drawback. My objective is to get rid of arch/arm/lib/board.c. Are there any other pending patches for ARM board removal, or are you planning to send some? Also, I believe that PowerPC will be fully converted once your latest series is applied (although I see a lot of boards converted at the last moment). So can we remove arch/powerpc/lib/board.c, etc.? We should try to get that done during this release too I think. I'm happy to do a patch.
