Similar efforts are present in Utah[1], North Carolina[2], and Maine[3] (for permanent standard time) and in Nebraska[4] (one bill for permanent standard time, one for permanent DST). Most likely there are bills in other states too.

I haven't been sending email to the list about these efforts, as so far none of them have seemed close enough to actually happening. Of course I could well be wrong.
