Moin,
git clone --recursive git://git.typo3.org/Packages/TYPO3.CMS.git
-> damit wird TYPO3 (git master) in das Verzeichnis TYPO3.CMS geclont.
cd TYPO3.CMS
-> damit wechselst Du in das Verzeichnis
git checkout TYPO3_7-6
-> im Verzeichnis musst Du jetzt noch in die 7.6. Dev auschecken
Wenn Du git als Master clonst musst Du noch das Verzeichnis vendor/ in das Verzeichnis kopieren.
Zu finden hier: https://typo3.org/download/
Zum Schluss ggfls. noch die symlinks anpassen.
