Du musst dies per TSconfig als erlaubten Wert für die Spalte type in
tt_content hinzufügen.
TCEFORM.tt_content.type {
# Add new element with title from label
addItems.dce_CEUID7 = LLL:EXT:extension/path/file.xlf:label
}

Vermutlich wird dies normalerweise automatisch gemacht, jedoch fummelt
gridelements in der Ecke nochmal selber rum. Es kann sein, dass dann die
automatische Ergänzung nicht aufgegriffen wird.
Machst du bitte einen Bug gegen gridelements auf?
