Hallo Susanne,
bei dieser Variante setzt TYPO3 immer den gleichen Link auf die
aktuelle Seite und zwar außerhalb des <li>.
Das sieht dann für jedes Bildelement so aus:
<a href="index.php?id=1"><li><img .../></li></a>
