Hallo Jan,
ich hatte genau das gleiche Problem.
Bei mir war in der localconf.php kein database port eingetragen, da
nicht notwendig.
Die Konvertierung in das neue Format bzw. die neue Datenbankverbindung
ist dann stillschweigend fehlgeschlagen.
Dieser Bug wurde (vor einigen Tagen) in GIT gefixt.
Damit hat es ja dann bei Dir auch geklappt.
