) has several open postdoctoral positions in AI for Programming Education.
*** Open positions ***
We are looking to hire postdoctoral researchers in AI for Programming
Education. Main topics of interest include, but are not limited to: program
synthesis and repair, neuro-symbolic AI, reinforcement learning, human-centered
computing, cognitive science, and learning sciences.
These are joint positions with Adish Singla (MPI-SWS), Sumit Gulwani
(Microsoft), and Rupak Majumdar (MPI-SWS). Moreover, you will have
opportunities to conduct interdisciplinary work in close collaboration with
researchers at several institutions, both within Max Planck Society and
worldwide.
*** Resources ***
Postdoctoral research positions come with highly competitive salaries, as well

research. MPI-SWS is located in Saarbrucken and Kaiserslautern, Germany, in the

Postdoctoral applicants should have completed or be close to completing a Ph.D.
in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering,
Cognitive Science). Applicants should have a strong track record of research
publications in top-tier conferences. We maintain an open, international, and
