The latest ICS v7 has improved exception handling to give more control over how background exceptions are handled. The last thing you want on a unattended server is a modal dialog. A similar problem with a server was discussed recently (or was that this one)? The best way to test is offline, write a simple client that will initiate a few hundred sessions to stress test the server in a controlled manner. I did this last year for the ICS FTP server, 250 simultaneous listing and download sessions (not simple dump connections).
