ICSv6 is the same as v7 in using single window per many sockets. For v5, you may hit the limit for maximum number of Window handles per proxess with a few thousand sockets.
With v7, we have been able to test up to 60k sockets. It could improve further but as Francois said the 2GB RAM limit for 32-bit processes is the problem. It will be removed when Embarcadero releases 64-bit compiler.
