>From my perspective, display and entry of all Unicode characters is not too important, I'm living with the restriction that the root directory for any file copying is ANSI. The component will then index and xfer any full Unicode directories or files in that root directory. Logging events show ? for non-ANSI characters, but all the files copy correctly. Delphi 2009 does full Unicode display.
