I have two notebooks and I can reproduce this problem on both: on the first (Pentium M) the problems occurs as already described, on the second (Core Duo) the problem occurs seldom. As I said, mostly it comes if I use ftpWaitUsingSleep option in FTPCli. You can try to reproduce this, as I read in Archives (you discussion with Francois), you use Synchronous mode and sleep. Just create random directory structure (with many subdirs) and try to transfer it to the server on lan (or on the same machine).
