As Fastream Technologies mentioned UPnp was the way i was looking for and not IPnp as the subject describes actually, as the program i have currently works fine when i configure the web admin for my router. There is plenty of checks inplace within the app to prevent unwanted or malicous attacks but i cannot expect joe blogs to have to setup port redirection etc via there router software which is why i am after some info or example of someone that has used UPnp.
