Mr. Showers, Wilfried Mestdagh comes from Belgium, where the native tongue is Flemmish. Because of this, his English is not perfect, and as some of us who are his friends can attest, his spelling is mostly phonetical, and inaccurate, though prefectly understandable.
I've known him for many years, and I'm sure that he meant to warmly wish all of us a "Merry Christmas", and that it was an unfortunate typo -- and not an attempt at ill-humour or offense -- what distorted this wish. I'd like to wish to you, to Wilfried, Francois, and to all the members of this list, a very Happy and Merry Christmas, and a prosperous New Year! or as we say in Spanish, my native tongue: Feliz Navidad y Próspero Año Nuevo!! dZ.
