This was resolved. The error message is (of course) incorrect; the issue relates to trying to reopen a different ticket from the topfile you're removing. I've filed a ticket on twisted's trac integration: https://bugs.launchpad.net/twisted-trac-integration/+bug/1248491 cheers lvh
