The official (at least as far as "official" goes) policy on this is that it's OK until someone complains, and right now the volume of such announcements is not high enough to bother anyone. And it's nice to see code being released that supports Twisted well. So keep them coming! If there's ever an issue we can always make a separate list for announcements. -glyph
