While we're on the topic of version control, I thought I'd mention that I tried to create a mercurial mirror of the SVN repo using hgsubversion a couple of weeks ago. It ran fine until it eventually hung on a particular commit and just refused to go any further. I had planned to ask the hgsubversion people about this but got distracted by other things.
