For years, it was the only store in California that sold dark chocolate KitKats, imported specifically for David Bowie. Anyone who has ever driven through Mulholland Drive knows it’s the only store up there. The area was (and continues to be) a Mecca for a certain breed of singer, writer, actor, performer.
