I’ve been watching them… I’m not 65 yet. The first ten seasons are really televised radio… more focused on the dialogue than the visuals, true to its roots. Eventually they started bringing in directors who worked with the actors on actually moving like humans. But I’m always impressed at how in depth stories can be told in those 30 minute episodes.
Full disclosure: LA station KNX 1070 am used to play the classic radio dramas in the late night hours, and I was a regular listener when I worked graveyard shifts. Gunsmoke and The Whistler were my two favorites. Kevin M.
