Westbrook Media, the production company started by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, was at one point the hottest production company in LA, producing the only hit Facebook had in its attempt at streaming with Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk," receiving good attention for Peacock's "Bel-Air," the reboot of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" as a drama and with many other projects planned and a projected sale to Candle Media, the company owned by former Disney execs that had already purchased Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine and the execrable kiddie show properties "CocoMelon" and "Blippi"--and then came The Slap:
