However disappointing this news may or may not be, the writing was surely on the wall. There's no way that it's in Netflix's interests to do anything that promotes the Marvel universe in any way shape or form now. It's unclear to me whether existing episodes of these series could ever find their way across from Netflix to Disney+ (I suspect not), but I would think that at this point, Disney will wait out the two years, and then reboot the characters as necessary.
This all reminded me that Netflix bought Mark Millar's comicbook company Millarworld back in 2017, but that so far this has resulted in nothing from that publisher appearing on the service. But I see there are series and movies in the pipeline. On the other hand, we have had Polar based on a Dark Horse comic, and The Umbrella Academy, also from Dark Horse. Didn't like the former, and haven't seen the latter. (Instead, I spent all weekend with the superb Das Boot TV version which I think is or will be on Hulu in the US).
