The BBC has a long running ‘Live at the Apollo’ series which is straight stand up. Each episode runs 30 [commercial free] minutes and has a host British audiences will have heard of, and then two (occasionally three) stand ups. At least one guest will be up and coming.
The host usually does a short bit at the start and between acts but is basically introducing the 10-12 minute sets.
